On Sunday, February 4, 2024, the AT&T Consumer Classic teams successfully completed the 2402 deployment – the first major release of 2024!
Despite this being the largest release dating back to August 2022, and notwithstanding the last-minute requests we encountered, we successfully delivered a seamless release to our client.

Key highlights
Instant-on disconnect fix
Helping reduce the confusion in care centers handling ACC accounts by clearly identifying Instant-On accounts in the ordering systems. This project will help AT&T save $1.8M over the next two years!
Greenfield due date
By providing customers with an accurate due date of network readiness, this initiative aims to help reduce calls coming into Tech and Loyalty and increase subscribers.
AT&T HomeTech Protection
Research has shown that when a customer is having issues with a 3rd party Wi-Fi connectable device, they end up dissatisfied with their ISP. This project looks to offer their broadband customers an insurance policy that covers eligible home tech. It covers damage, loss, or theft of home office and entertainment devices, smart home products, and Wi-Fi-only personal wearables.
Hyperlocal marketing
Hyperlocal Marketing is only step 1 in the Hyperlocal program, helping AT&T to market new offers and promos at the address level. Next step is Hyperlocal Pricing, stay tuned for more details on this initiative deploying in 2404.
Fiber Kit (MVP1)
The All-Fi Pro/Fiber Kit program will monetize the Wi-Fi 7 RG and Extenders (up to 5 included) via a subscription bundling model. It will include Extended Wi-Fi Coverage Service (EWCS), Internet Security Advanced (ISA), and Internet Backup.
The project is launching in three Minimum Viable Products (MVPs):
- MVP 1 Eligible customers w/Wi-Fi 6 (BGW320) EWCS + ISA is included for 2Gig/5Gig Tier rate plans at no additional monthly cost.
