Corporate Giving and Community Involvement
Amdocs recognizes that an integral part of being a successful company is being a socially responsible corporate citizen
As such, we strive to be actively involved in the communities where we live and work, and to contribute from our resources and talents to assist in community projects.

There are many types of community involvement. At Amdocs, we have taken upon ourselves to support the well-being and enhance the educational opportunities of children-at-risk in the communities that we call home. In order to offer these children the prospect of a better future, we must do what we can today to alleviate social gaps and create opportunities for those who might otherwise be left out.

Our commitment to this goal requires that we go beyond monetary donations and engage our employees more fully in the important mission of corporate citizenship

Amdocs world-wide volunteers are active in USA (Saint Louis, Champaign, San Jose, Atlanta, Charlotte and Sacramento), Brazil (São Paulo), India (Maharashtra state, Pune), Czech Republic (Prague), Cyprus, and Israel (Tel-Aviv Jerusalem Haifa and Negev).

RECENT ACTIVITIES

November, 2009
For the fourth year running, Amdocs is marking Universal Children's Day (UCD) a global initiative designed to reach out to thousands of children in the communities where Amdocs' centers are based. Universal Children's Day has now become an Amdocs tradition. It provides us with an opportunity to celebrate the volunteer efforts of our employees.

This year, a range of on-site fun activities are being held in Israel, UK, Cyprus, India, Romania, Thailand, and 14 sites in North America. Amdocs is also partnering with UNICEF in a global fundraiser in which employees will be given the opportunity to donate to selected UNICEF projects. This support means that UNICEF will be able to provide assistance, health care and education to children that need it for their survival.

Amdocs' Community Relations is led by over one thousand volunteers. Each year, Amdocs' volunteers undertake an impressive amount of local community based projects. Amdocs is committed to good community relations and having a positive impact on the communities in which we are based. We encourage employees to give their time and skills to children in need and fund projects and allow work time to achieve these goals.

Special Recognition
Amdocs Israel Community Relations has been recognized as the most significant contributor to the community based on the votes of the readers of "TheMarker"/"Haaretz.com" and an evaluation committee who considered the work of over 30 companies.

As the winner of this prestigious award, Amdocs Israel was recognized at an award ceremony of the "100 most influential businesses".

Amdocs won the award not only for the sizable monetary donations made by the company and its employees, but primarily for the personal involvement of hundreds of volunteers.
